Rallies and public gatherings were held across the country to mark one year since the completion of Marka-e-Haq.
Members of the public paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, while large crowds attended the “Bunyan-un-Marsoos Marka-e-Haq” rallies. According to details that emerged on Sunday, Pakistan Railways organised a ceremony at Karachi Cantt Station to mark one year of the success of Marka-e-Haq. DS Railway Karachi Division Jamshed Alam attended the ceremony and said the success of Marka-e-Haq had changed many things in the region.
He said Pakistan achieved success in war because of the Armed Forces, adding that no country could fight a war without a strong military. He said the entire nation was proud of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, a “Bunyan-un-Marsoos Marka-e-Haq” rally was taken out through the joint efforts of Jamia Binoria Aalamia and SITE Police. Students from various schools and seminaries took part in the rally. Carrying Pakistani flags, the students expressed their love for the country and the Armed Forces. They also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defence of the homeland. Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s security, stability and progress.
Separately, a large number of women and children from across the city participated in a women’s Marka-e-Haq rally organised by the Markazi Muslim League. The rally started from the Arts Council and concluded at the Karachi Press Club. Participants expressed solidarity with the Armed Forces on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq. Slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” were also raised.
