Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has delivered a blunt message to the United States, saying that Iran will not bow to any form of threats and that the Islamic Republic cannot be intimidated.
In statements and messages on social media, the Iranian president has said that Muslims bow only before God and do not accept pressure from any power. He urged American officials to cease issuing threats of military action against Iran.
Pezeshkian has said that injustice, violation of law and oppression were increasing in the present global order, largely because politics had been reduced solely to the exercise of power.
He has added that Iran presents itself as a responsible state founded upon moral principles and remains a supporter of justice and stability at the international level.
According to experts, the statement comes at a time when tensions between the United States and Iran are rising, with an increase in military strain observed in the region.
