Global leaders have contacted the the United Arab Emirates president and strongly condemned the attacks.
According to the UAE’s official news agency, several regional leaders spoke with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and denounced the strikes on civilians and civilian facilities in the Emirates.
The report said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was among those who held a telephone conversation and expressed solidarity with the UAE.
The leaders reaffirmed their full support for the United Arab Emirates and assured backing for measures taken to safeguard national security and stability, with a view to ensuring the protection of civilians.
In addition, the King of Jordan and the leader of the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq also telephoned the UAE president, expressing support and solidarity.
