During the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, textile exports recorded an increase of only $220 million.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has said that from July 2025 to April 2026, the volume of textile exports remained above $15 billion. The PBS has said that the textile exports rose by 1.48 per cent during the July-April period.
In the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, textile exports stood at 14.85 billion dollars. On a monthly basis, textile exports increased by 22.8 per cent compared with the previous year.
The PBS has reported that textile exports in April were recorded at approximately 1.5 billion dollars, compared with 1.2 billion dollars in April last year.
