Gold and silver prices declined in both international and domestic markets, reflecting a downward trend in precious metal rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,600 to Rs495,362. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,371, settling at Rs424,693.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a decline, falling by $16 per ounce to reach $4,730.
Meanwhile, silver prices recorded a decrease as well, with per tola silver dropping by Rs130 to Rs7,934.
