Hamas has welcomed the Iran-United States peace talks, adding that the purpose of the negotiations should be the complete and comprehensive end of the war.
In a statement, Hamas said it awaited the success of peace efforts undertaken by host Pakistan, expressing hope that these diplomatic efforts would yield positive results.
The statement noted that the diplomatic process would promote unity and stability among Arab and Islamic countries.
Indonesian Foreign Ministry
The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the talks between the United States and Iran held in Pakistan were encouraging, adding that this development would assist in advancing the diplomatic process. It said dialogue and diplomacy remained the only path to lasting peace.
The ministry stated that the negotiations marked a positive step towards resolving the dispute, and that efforts to reduce tensions should be further strengthened, with maximum restraint exercised and respect shown for sovereignty and territorial integrity.
