Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of Iran. During the call, both leaders discussed the recent regional situation and ongoing developments.
Dar emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to promote peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact as the situation continues to evolve.
Talks with Iraq focus on de-escalation
Dar also spoke with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fawad Hussein to discuss the rapidly changing regional dynamics.
Both leaders stressed the urgent need to control tensions and reduce escalation. They agreed that continuous diplomatic efforts are essential to promote peace and stability in the region.
