Pakistani cricketer Hussain Talat suffered an injury while fielding during the second One-day International against Bangladesh.
Talat hurt his shoulder in the course of play and was shifted to hospital for a medical examination. After losing three early wickets within the first five overs, Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Litton Das responded by striking Mohammad Wasim Jr for consecutive boundaries in the third over of his spell.
On the second ball of the sixth over, Litton struck the ball firmly towards the field. Hussain Talat made a diving attempt to stop it. The ball reached the boundary as he touched the cushions during the effort, and he sustained a painful shoulder injury in the process.
