The Pakistan Cricket Board has opened the player trade window for the eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League.
The trade window for PSL 11 will remain open until 18 March, the PCB said. Franchises will be allowed to trade players according to tournament rules and the salary cap, the PCB added.
Three types of trades will be possible during the PSL 11 trade window, the board stated. Franchises may engage in player-for-player, player-for-money, and player-plus-money trades, the PCB clarified.
Approval from the Pakistan Cricket Board will be required to finalise any trade. A special allowance has been granted to Multan Sultans for their salary cap, the PCB announced.
The Multan Sultans’ salary cap has been increased by Rs12 million. Multan Sultans will be able to add two more players, bringing their squad to 22.
Like all teams, Multan Sultans will be allowed only 20 players in the match-day squad.
PSL 11 will be played from 26 March to 3 May across six cities in Pakistan.
