Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, during which both the leaders have stressed reducing the tension in the Middle East.
The discussion covered regional and global developments, according to the Foreign Office spokesperson. Both leaders spoke on the evolving situation in the region and global progress.
Ishaq Dar emphasised the urgent need to reduce rising tensions in the region.
The Chinese foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive efforts to ease regional tensions. The Foreign Ministers underlined the necessity of dialogue and diplomacy for resolving issues.
They reaffirmed the strength of the “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between Pakistan and China.
Both leaders expressed determination to deepen bilateral cooperation and agreed to maintain close contact.
