The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the final of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
According to details, Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf will serve as the on-field umpires for the match. Andy Pycroft will perform duties as the match referee.
It is pertinent to note that New Zealand decimated South Africa by nine wickets in the first semi-final to secure a place in the final, with opener Finn Allen scoring a record-breaking century.
Meanwhile, India edged England by seven runs in a high-scoring encounter to qualify for the T20 World Cup final for the second consecutive time.
