The price of gold in Pakistan saw a massive hike on Monday following US-Israel attacks on Iran and the outbreak of a war.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by a huge Rs13,300, reaching Rs563,862 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs11,402, taking it to Rs483,420. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a hike of Rs10,453 to be sold for Rs443,151.
International gold prices
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $133 to reach $5,411 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend, with the price of silver per tola rising by Rs188 to Rs10,050 in Pakistan, while 10 grams of silver also hiked by Rs161 to be sold for Rs8,616.
