Pakistan's military has carried out large-scale operations under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, targeting Afghan Taliban positions along the border.
Dozens of Taliban hideouts were destroyed, hundreds of operatives killed, and key posts captured.
In response to Taliban aggression, Pakistani forces launched nighttime operations, targeting crucial hideouts including Kandaki Base Chitral, Khyber Post, New Afghan Eight, Delta Post, Omari, Ghulam Khan, Shaga Post, Ala Jirga Police Station, and Rahim Police Station.
The enemy reportedly fled in the wake of these operations. According to the Information Minister, 331 Taliban operatives were killed, 500 injured, 104 posts destroyed, 18 captured, and 135 tanks and armored vehicles destroyed. Twelve Pakistani soldiers were martyred, while 27 others were injured defending the homeland.
Airstrikes target Taliban headquarters
The Pakistan Air Force conducted airstrikes at 29 locations in Afghanistan, striking critical Taliban infrastructure in Laghman, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Kabul, and Paktika provinces.

Taliban check posts in Miran Shah, Mohmand sector, and Paktia
Airstrikes successfully destroyed major headquarters, large arms depots, and logistics bases, significantly weakening Taliban operational capacity.
Ground forces capture and secure posts
The Pakistan Army advanced on the ground, destroying additional posts such as Shipola Camp, Khyber Post, Qaumi Sar Complex, Khawar Post, Topsar Post, and Dawood Post.
Pakistani forces also captured 18 key Taliban check posts, including positions opposite Shawal, Angoor Adda, and Zarmalan, hoisting the national flag in these territories. Infiltration attempts in Qila Saifullah sector were foiled, with several Taliban operatives killed.
Drone attacks foiled
The Taliban-backed Fatnatul Khawarij attempted drone attacks targeting Abbottabad, Swabi, and Nowshera. Pakistan’s anti-drone systems intercepted all threats, with no casualties reported.
These incidents highlighted the ongoing threat posed by the Taliban regime and its nexus with terrorism in Pakistan.
Operations ongoing
Operation Ghazab lil-Haq continues, with Pakistani forces determined to neutralize Taliban positions along the border. Security officials emphasized that the operation will proceed until all objectives are achieved.
Federal Information sources confirmed that 297–341 Taliban operatives have been killed so far, over 450 injured, and multiple strategic targets including check posts, tanks, and armed vehicles have been destroyed or captured.
