Pakistani troops stationed along the Afghan border remain steadfast in defending their homeland.
A soldier in the Bajaur sector reported that their positions came under fire from across the Afghan border during the night, an attack that was repeated. He warned that the Afghan Taliban had underestimated the resolve of the Pakistani forces.
The soldier added that in a retaliatory operation, multiple Taliban hideouts were targeted and destroyed. “Our nation fears no one. Anyone attempting to challenge us, especially at the behest of India, will face severe consequences. Pakistan knows how to defend itself,” he said.
Security sources confirmed that Pakistan’s Operation Ghazab Lil Haqq is ongoing against unprovoked actions by the Afghan Taliban regime along the border.
Taliban posts are being selectively targeted, with heavy and small arms fire employed. According to reports, 30 Taliban personnel have been killed so far. Drones are also being used to pinpoint and strike key Taliban positions.
