The Punjab Home Department has imposed a ban on the outdoor use of drone cameras across the province.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, a notification has been issued enforcing Section 144 on the use of drones at outdoor locations.
The home department stated that the decision was taken in the interest of public safety, security concerns and the maintenance of public order.
The restriction shall not apply to indoor activities, including the use of drones in wedding halls.
