Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag said that the Pakistan team are not lacking in talent, but the problem lies in their tendency to panic quickly.
“What I have observed over the last few years in India-Pakistan matches is that India handle pressure better than Pakistan,” he said.
He recalled that in the 1990s, the Pakistan team displayed great aggressiveness whenever they faced pressure on the field. “However, the current Pakistan team panic instead of showing aggression and lack positive intent,” Sehwag added.
He maintained: “Pakistan need to adopt an attacking approach rather than a defensive one. It would be far better to attack.”
