India’s Suryakumar Yadav, England’s Joe Root and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell were nominated for the player of the month.

The two players have traded the No.1 position in recent weeks during the build-up to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, underlining the intense competition in the shortest format of the game.
