The price of gold and silver in Pakistan has increased for the fourth consecutive day, as demand for gold in global and local markets remains high in the context of Iran-US tensions.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by a huge Rs7,100, reaching Rs533,562 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs6,087, taking it to Rs457,443.
International gold prices
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $71 to reach $5,108 per ounce.

Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend, with the price of silver per tola rising by Rs374 to Rs8,948 in Pakistan.
