The price of gold and silver in Pakistan saw another sharp rise for the third consecutive day, as demand for gold in global and local markets remains high in the context of Iran-US tensions.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs2,500, reaching Rs526,462 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,144, taking it to Rs451,356. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a hike of Rs1,966 to be sold for Rs413,758.
International gold prices
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $25 to reach $5,037 per ounce.

Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend, with the price of silver per tola rising by Rs170 to Rs8,574 in Pakistan, while 10 grams of silver also hiked by Rs145 to be sold for Rs7,350.
