On the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan paid tribute to Pakistan’s founder, emphasizing his enduring vision for a free, just, and sovereign nation.
The minister underscored Jinnah’s commitment to religious freedom, equality, and constitutional supremacy.
Abdul Aleem Khan described Quaid-e-Azam as a unifier who held the hands of Muslims and guided them toward freedom and a distinct identity. He highlighted that Jinnah’s leadership was driven not by personal gain but by the long-term welfare and security of future generations.
“The Father of the Nation was a champion of religious freedom, rule of law, constitutional supremacy, and equality,” the minister said, reaffirming Jinnah’s principles as foundational for Pakistan’s progress.
Guiding principles for nation
According to Abdul Aleem Khan, the Quaid’s policies were rooted in principles and never compromised on the fundamental rights of Muslims. He noted that Pakistan today stands as a free and sovereign country thanks to Jinnah’s unwavering leadership.
“Following the guiding principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is essential for Pakistan to move forward and achieve prosperity,” the minister added, stressing the importance of adopting these ideals in governance and public life.
Minister also extends warm Christmas wishes
Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan extended heartfelt greetings to Pakistan’s Christian community on the occasion of Christmas, highlighting the importance of unity, national pride, and collective prayers for the country’s peace and security.
Abdul Aleem Khan stressed that the focus should move beyond labels of minority and majority toward a shared national identity. “Instead of minority and majority, we must adopt the mindset of nationality,” he said, underlining the importance of inclusiveness and harmony among all citizens.
The minister noted that during this festive season, Christian brothers and sisters pray not only for personal happiness but also for the security of Pakistan. “Every happiness and peace from the country, prayers for the security of the beloved homeland take precedence over every prayer,” Abdul Aleem Khan said.
He added that with the formation of a united nation, the awareness that “every individual is the star of the nation’s destiny” will flourish, strengthening the country’s social cohesion.
