The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has announced relief for electricity consumers nationwide and has issued a notification reducing the tariff by Rs0.88 per unit for one month.
According to the details surfaced on Tuesday, the notification said that the reduction shall apply to consumers of all power distribution companies (Discos), including K-Electric, though lifeline consumers and electric vehicle charging stations shall not receive this relief.
The concession shall be reflected in December electricity bills. The decision is expected to provide notable relief to ordinary consumers in December.
