Barrister Gohar addressed the National Assembly, assuring lawmakers that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would return to power through the public mandate.
He said once in government, the PTI would roll back the recently passed amendments.
During his speech, PTI chairman emphasized that the party would never launch an attack on Parliament and reaffirmed their commitment to working for the institution and the democratic process.
Addressing fellow members, Gohar stressed that PTI has never attempted to undermine the dignity of Parliament.
The session also saw a brief exchange regarding the status of Mahamood Achakzai. The Speaker of the National Assembly questioned his position as opposition leader, to which Barrister Gohar responded, asserting that Mahamood Achakzai indeed holds the role of opposition leader.
