The price of gold saw another big jump for the second consecutive day in both global and Pakistan markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs5,900 per tola on Tuesday, reaching Rs435,762, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs5,065 to Rs373,595, according to the APSGJA.

Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were priced at Rs342,474, marking an increase of Rs4,901.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $59 per ounce to settle at $4,134. The uptick reflects sustained global interest in precious metals amid economic uncertainty and shifting currency trends.
Silver prices also increase
Silver followed a similar trajectory, with the price per tola rising by Rs144 to Rs5,353. The rate for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs124 to Rs4,589.
In the international market, silver was trading at $50.91 per ounce after a modest gain of $1.44.
