Separately, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar said on Tuesday that the constitutional amendments are under consideration to strengthen the judicial system.
Expressing his thoughts, he urged the need to avoid speculation regarding the proposed changes, adding that the government is moving from a constitutional bench towards a constitutional court.
Atta Tarar said that discussions on constitutional amendments are part of a broader effort to reinforce judicial institutions. He emphasised that conjecture surrounding the proposed changes should be avoided until decisions are formally announced.
