Another unusual case of playing loud songs has been registered in Deepalpur, where police arrested a tractor driver for allegedly playing an “obscene” song in public.
According to police reports, the incident occurred in Ahmedabad area of Deepalpur, where a driver named Muhammad Babar, a resident of Lakho Malkana, was found playing a song at high volume on his tractor.
Song lyrics declared obscene
An FIR was registered on the complaint of police officials, citing the lyrics of the song “Assi Pagal Hoye Sajnaan Ve Ena Pyar Tere Naal Karne Yes” as obscene. The song’s content was deemed inappropriate for public spaces, according to the complaint.
The FIR includes the lyrics in its text, labeling them as indecent under applicable public decency laws. The driver was subsequently arrested and sent to jail, police confirmed.
Police stance
Speaking about the incident, SHO Farrukh Hussain stated that playing loud or inappropriate songs in public violates local laws and will not be tolerated.
“The law does not allow playing obscene songs at high volume,” SHO Hussain said. “Such actions disturb public order and offend social norms. We are taking strict measures to prevent such behaviour.”

According to police officials, Farooq, a local shopkeeper, was repeatedly warned by residents to lower the volume but failed to comply. Following continuous disturbances, the police arrived on the scene in response to public complaints and took immediate action.
Farooq was arrested on the spot for violating the Sound Systems Act and causing public nuisance, authorities confirmed.
