The crescent moon for Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH has been sighted in Quetta, with multiple reports confirming its visibility from various parts of the city.
Balochistan's Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Anwar-ul-Haq Haqqani said clear weather conditions in Quetta and its surrounding areas allowed the moon to be seen easily.
Following verification of testimonies received from different locations, the local committee has forwarded the details to the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
Maulana Haq made it clear that the final announcement of the beginning of the Islamic month of Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH will be made by the central committee after its meeting.
On this occasion, religious scholars prayed for the welfare, peace, and stability of the Islamic world.
