Foreign envoys received a detailed briefing on the latest situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch outlined Pakistan’s position on recent tensions and border incidents. She drew attention to the rising number of terrorist attacks in Pakistan originating from Afghan territory and explained that Pakistan’s responses were taken under the right to self-defence.
The foreign secretary emphasised that Pakistan remains committed to the principle of peaceful neighbourliness.
Additional Secretary Syed Tahir Andrabi, Syed Ali Asad Gilani and other senior officials also took part in the briefing.
