Security withdrawal sparks alarm

District and Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana quickly responded to the move. Taking notice of the security withdrawal, he issued a formal show-cause notice to the deputy inspector general (security).
The court order demanded an explanation for why security personnel had been withdrawn from judges without justification or consultation.
DIG operations summoned in person
Along with the written notice, the judge directed DIG (operations) to personally appear in court today. The purpose of the summons is to clarify the reasoning behind withdrawing protection from Islamabad’s district judges.
The show cause notice explicitly states that DIG Operations must provide a detailed explanation for the decision.
