Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi said on Thursday that the Green Shirts need to perform well against the big teams for emerging victorious.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme "Zor Ka Jor", Afridi took a swipe at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "Narendra Modi and Godi media have played big role in further straining the ties between Pakistan and India."
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan have qualified for the next round of the tournament after clinching a dominating 41-run victory over United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan will lock horns against arch-rivals India in the Super 4s on Sunday.
