The weather in Lahore has turned pleasant after rain hit parts of the city.
According to details that surfaced on Thursday, the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted more rainfall in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has predicted rain in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad during the next two days. Gujarat, Gujranwala and Lahore Division are expected to witness torrential rainfall.
Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Sargodha, Faisalabad, and Zhob Division are expected to witness persistent rainfall.
It has been reported that the rains in the upper reaches of the rivers are expected to increase the flow.
The NDMA said there was a medium flow of 500,000 cusecs at Guddu Barrage on Thursday.
Highlighting the possibility of the flood situation, the NDMA said that a medium flood is present at Kotri Barrage.
