The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the price of imported Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for September, making it costlier compared to August.
RLNG price hike announced
According to OGRA, RLNG prices have been raised by 28 cents per MMBTU for both distribution companies. The increase applies to customers of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).
Revised rates for September
The new price for Sui Northern has been set at $12.01 per MMBTU, up from $11.73 in August, reflecting a 2.38% increase.
For Sui Southern, the rate has been fixed at $11.1 per MMBTU, compared to $10.73 in August, showing a 2.63% rise.
