British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has offered condolences to flood-hit Pakistan in a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, PM Starmer expressed grief over the losses of lives due to the flash floods in Pakistan's northern areas. He extended his sympathies to the flood victims in the country.
"It is a concerning situation for the families of Pakistanis living here in the United Kingdom," he said. PM Starmer added that the people of the United Kingdom extend their solidarity to the Pakistani nation in these testing times.
He paid tribute to the emergency response team and volunteers, taking part in the rescue and relief operations in the testing times.
