Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Islamabad on Aug 21 to co-chair the 6th Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
Wang, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, is visiting at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
The ministry said the visit is part of regular high-level exchanges aimed at further deepening the “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between the two countries.
The agenda includes reaffirming support on issues of core interest, enhancing economic and trade cooperation, and reiterating their joint commitment to regional peace, development and stability.
