Milind Kumar’s fiery 37-ball 74 and Tajinder Singh (37-ball 58) powered Chicago Kingsmen to a dominating 69-run victory over Pakistan Shaheens in the 17th match of the Top End T20 at the Marrara Cricket Ground No 2 in Darwin on Tuesday.
After winning the toss, the Shaheens had invited the Kingsmen to bat first. Kumar racked up eight boundaries and three towering sixes to put the Shaheens’ bowlers to the test.
Tajinder Singh had also notched a half-century, smashing four boundaries and two sixes, before he was trapped by Mohammad Wasim. Kumar and Singh’s brilliance with the bat steered the Kingsmen to a staggering 206-5 in 20 overs.
