The funeral prayer of Mian Shahid Shafi, cousin of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, was offered in Lahore.
Prominent political figures, including PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif, Suleman Shehbaz, Hassan Nawaz, Amir Muqam, Bilal Yasin, and Abid Sher Ali, attended the funeral.
A large number of political, religious, and social personalities were also present and offered prayers for the departed soul.
