Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry met with Jamaat-e-Islami’s Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch and Secretary-General Ameerul Azeem, where agreement was reached regarding the route and security arrangements for the long march originating from Quetta.
According to details, it was decided in a meeting held in Mansoorah that participants of the march would pass through Muzaffargarh before arriving in Multan and subsequently Lahore. Chaudhry assured that security would be provided to the marchers along the route from Multan to Lahore.

He said that the federal government’s committee would engage in dialogue with the organisers of the “Haq Do Balochistan” movement and efforts would be made to conclude the march in Lahore.
Further discussions concerning the possibility of the march continuing to Islamabad will be held after its arrival in Lahore.
Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary-General Ameer ul Azeem affirmed that the party would continue its struggle for public rights within the framework of the Constitution.
He emphasised that the government must approach the issues faced by the Baloch people with seriousness.
Liaqat Baloch also called on the government to prioritise the long-standing grievances of the people of Balochistan and to ensure the peaceful conduct of the march.
