Punjab education boards Thursday announced the results of the Matric Annual Exams 2025.
In Sahiwal, the overall pass rate stood at 67.81 percent, while position holders from Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi announced the top position holders.

Sahiwal Board: 67.81 Percent Students Pass
According to the Sahiwal Board, a total of 71,789 students appeared in the Matric Annual Exams 2025, of which 48,680 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 67.81.
- Muhammad Faizan secured first position with 1185 marks.
- Umme Roman stood second with 1187 marks.
- Faizan Fareed came third with 1189 marks.
Faisalabad Board: All Top Positions Secured by Private School Students
Faisalabad Board announced the names of the top performers in the Matric 2025 exams. All three positions were bagged by students from private schools.
- Muhammad Moiz Qamar topped the board with 1189 marks.
- Maham Mumtaz secured second position with 1187 marks.
- Meerab Warraich clinched third position with 1186 marks.
Sargodha Board: Mix of Government and Private School Success
Sargodha Board also revealed its top position holders.
- Marwa Sohail from a private school secured first position with 1187 marks.
- Siraj Khan from Government High School Kammar Mushani took second place with 1186 marks.
- Asad, Mubeen, and Muneeb ur Rehman shared third position with 1184 marks each.
Matric results announced in DG Khan, Hania tops with 1187 marks
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education DG Khan announced the results of the annual matriculation examinations on Tuesday, with an overall pass percentage of 81.35.
According to Board Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed Chaudhry, a total of 91,180 students appeared in the exams this year.
Hania Mahmood from Layyah secured the top position with 1,187 marks, while Insha Ahmed stood second with 1,186 marks. Four students shared the third position, scoring 1,184 marks each. They include Nauman Waris, Zirish Fatima, Zainab Shoukat, and Laiba Raza.
The results reflect the hard work of students across the region and mark another milestone in the academic calendar.
Gujranwala Board: 19 Students Secure Top Positions Across Groups
In Gujranwala, a total of 19 students achieved various positions in Science and Arts groups. Girls led with seven positions, while boys secured three overall.
- Shafayat Rasool, Alisha Zaib, and Fatima Shireez jointly secured first position with 1187 marks.
- Muhammad Mohed and Muhammad Abdullah shared second place with 1186 marks.
- Five students jointly claimed third place with 1185 marks.
Rawalpindi Board: Lawrence College Student Tops
Rawalpindi Board announced its top scorers:
- Muhammad Usman of Lawrence College Ghora Gali secured first position with 1188 marks.
- Bisma Ali from Punjab Girls School, Talagang, stood second with 1177 marks.
- Maryam Shehzadi from Bahria Foundation Girls School, Chakwal, came third with 1175 marks.
