Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has slammed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, saying he reached power on the shoulders of the establishment and now seeks negotiations with the same forces he criticizes for interfering in politics.
In a press conference, Bukhari said, “Ali Amin Gandapur must remember that he will have to talk to democratic forces, not the powers he often complains about.” She added that if Gandapur visits Punjab in the capacity of a Chief Minister, he will be welcomed with respect, but if he arrives like a thug, Punjab Police will deal with him accordingly.
She made it clear that no one will be allowed to create chaos or indulge in vandalism in Punjab. “Ali Amin Gandapur has only uttered filth against Maryam Nawaz. If he brings his cabinet for a study tour of Punjab, we will teach them governance,” Bukhari remarked.
