Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at the United Nations international conference on a peaceful two-state solution to the Palestine issue scheduled to take place in New York from June 17 to 19.
The high-level conference is being convened under the UN framework with a focus on the Middle East’s most pressing conflict, the implementation of a two-state solution to resolve the longstanding Palestine-Israel dispute.
Ishaq Dar’s participation underscores Pakistan’s continued solidarity with the Palestinian people and its unwavering support for a just and peaceful resolution of the issue by international law and UN Security Council resolutions.
The conference will gather global leaders and diplomats to reinforce collective efforts for lasting peace in the region through a viable two-state framework.
