Hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad and most other parts of the country today (Sunday), while dust-laden winds are likely to blow across the plains.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), daytime temperatures in Islamabad will remain high, with dry conditions prevailing. Most districts in Punjab are also likely to face intense heat, although gusty winds are expected in the plains during the afternoon. Weather across the majority of districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain hot, with the southern regions experiencing severe heat.
In Sindh, scorching temperatures are forecast for most districts, while strong and dusty winds are anticipated across the plains. Balochistan is also expected to witness extremely hot weather throughout the day.
The highest rainfall during the past night was recorded in Cherat at 12 millimetres, while Islamabad received 4 millimetres and Rawalpindi 2 millimetres.
