The Sindh Education Department has announced the commencement of admissions in government colleges across the province, with classes scheduled to begin from August 1.
This year, admissions will be granted on the basis of ninth-grade results due to the delay in matriculation exam outcomes. Students securing A1 and A grades will be eligible to apply to any government college of their choice, while those with B grades or lower will be restricted to colleges located in their residential areas.
According to the department, admissions will be offered in over 375 government colleges throughout Sindh. Of these, 154 colleges in Karachi will accommodate both male and female students.
The online admission process will begin on June 15, allowing students to submit their applications digitally. The merit lists for selected candidates will be released on July 22.
Authorities have advised students and parents to ensure timely submission of forms and to follow official guidelines provided on the Sindh College Education Department’s portal for a smooth admission process.
