Gold and silver prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant surge on Friday, according to the latest update issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The rise in prices reflects fluctuations in the international market and adjustments based on the interbank exchange rate.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola has climbed to Rs. 351,000, registering a notable increase of Rs. 3,500. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams now stands at Rs. 300,925, up by Rs. 3,000. For those purchasing 22-karat gold, the new rate for 10 grams is Rs. 275,857, showing a gain of Rs. 2,750.
On the international market, the price of gold has risen to $3,326, marking a $35 increase.
Silver prices have also experienced an upward trend. The rate for 24-karat silver per tola is now Rs. 3,466, up by Rs. 38, while the price for 10 grams of silver has reached Rs. 2,971, an increase of Rs. 33. Internationally, silver is now trading at $33.08 per ounce, reflecting a gain of $0.38.
