The 12th edition of the International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024) is set to take place from November 19 to 22 at the Karachi Expo Center. Organized by the Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) under the Ministry of Defense Production, this biennial event aims to promote Pakistan's defense industry on the global stage.
IDEAS 2024 will feature displays of locally manufactured defense equipment alongside exhibitions from major international defense companies. The event is expected to draw international defense exhibitors, delegates, security analysts, and high-level policy planners from around the world.
Pakistan's public and private defense industries have made significant strides in recent years, achieving expertise in manufacturing defense equipment. This progress marks an important milestone towards self-reliance in the defense sector.

Defense production and exports are among the priority sectors for the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in Pakistan, underlining the importance of this event in the country's economic and strategic landscape.
