Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Monday conveyed a message from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, urging a harmonious ties with institutions.
Addressing a presser in Peshawar, Gandapur on concerns raised by the federal government regarding alleged electricity theft in KP called for collaborative efforts.
He underscored the sacrifices made by the people of the region and stressed the need for respectful discourse in addressing such issues.
Expressing his commitment to justice and the welfare of his constituents, Gandapur announced plans to convene PTI workers' conventions nationwide. Asserting his dedication to upholding the rights of the people, he vowed to challenge any hindrance to their interests.
Touching upon recent electoral developments, Gandapur affirmed the government's respect for the democratic process, citing the acceptance of the people's decision in the Bajaur by-elections.
He reiterated PTI's adherence to lawful means in advancing its demands, rejecting illegitimate tactics.
Gandapur also expressed concern over the health of Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, citing medical reports indicating potential injuries. He called for the formation of a medical board to assess her condition, underscoring the need for transparency and accountability.
In response to queries regarding legal proceedings, Gandapur reaffirmed his commitment to addressing false charges, promising to rectify any injustices faced by the public.
Furthermore, the KP CM raised issues about the Chief Election Commissioner and the representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Senate, advocating for the restoration of reserved seats and challenging opposition claims.
In a resolute tone, Gandapur warned against undue provocations, emphasising PTI's commitment to peaceful means while asserting its capacity for firm action if necessary.
