Australia sealed a 2-0 series victory over Bangladesh with a hard-fought seven-run win in the second T20 International at Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Friday.
After electing to bat first, Australia recovered from an early collapse to post 196 for five in their allotted 20 overs. Matt Renshaw starred with an unbeaten 89 from 52 balls, while Tim David contributed 45 from 26 deliveries in a decisive partnership that revived the innings.
Australia lost Josh Inglis for 11, Cooper Connolly for one and captain Mitchell Marsh for 20 inside the first six overs. Renshaw and David then steadied the innings and accelerated the scoring, guiding the tourists to a competitive total.

Chasing 197, Bangladesh made a brisk start through Tanzid Hasan and Saif Hassan. Tanzid struck 30 from 15 balls before Matt Renshaw dismissed him with a caught-and-bowled chance.
Saif Hassan made 42, while Parvez Hossain Emon added 36 and stand-in captain Towhid Hridoy struck 35. Bangladesh remained in contention throughout the chase but lost key wickets at crucial stages.
