Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expressed concerns over the eye medical examination and treatment of its founder, stating that a lack of transparency in his eye treatment has increased worries.
A party spokesperson said PTI demands that personal physicians Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Asim Yusuf be granted access to examine and treat the party founder. The party also reiterated its demand to shift him to Shifa International Hospital, adding that this is not a request for privilege but a demand for basic human rights.
The spokesperson said timely and proper medical care is a fundamental right of every prisoner.
PTI further stated that the health of its leader Ejaz Chaudhry is deteriorating and urged that he be shifted to a hospital immediately for treatment.
The party also expressed concern over rising electricity and gas prices and the ongoing energy crisis, calling for immediate relief for the public amid inflation and increasing utility costs.
