Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi said on Thursday that a comprehensive plan had been arranged to provide foolproof security to all foreign guests, during a meeting with United States Ambassador to Pakistan Natalie Baker.
According to details, Naqvi said that full security cover had been prepared in all respects for visiting delegations. The meeting discussed in detail the present situation in the Middle East. The US envoy welcomed the ceasefire and praised Pakistan’s firm and positive diplomatic role.

Matters relating to high-level talks to be held in Islamabad, along with their arrangements, also came under discussion.
Mr Naqvi said that United States Vice President JD Vance, among other key figures, would be special guests of Pakistan. He added that a comprehensive plan had been finalised to ensure foolproof security for all foreign delegations.
Baker commended Pakistan’s sincere role and efforts for peace in the region, and expressed hope for positive progress.
