In the Saudi capital Riyadh, markets marking Chand Raat have reached their height, with large crowds thronging shopping areas. Alongside Saudi citizens, a considerable number of Pakistanis and other foreign residents are engaged in Eid shopping.
At the Chand Raat market set up in the city, facilities have been arranged under one roof for visiting families. Stalls offering Eid clothing, jewellery, cosmetics and footwear have been put in place, while women are seen adorning their hands with intricate designs at mehndi stalls.
Participants praised the Chand Raat market, stating that Pakistani families are afforded the convenience of completing their Eid shopping at a single venue, where Pakistani attire is also readily available.
