A fresh spell of rain is set to begin across various parts of Balochistan from Monday (March 16).
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain is expected in several districts including Chaman, Zhob, Barkhan and Ziarat. The PMD said a strong weather system will enter Balochistan on March 17, raising the likelihood of rainfall spreading to further areas of the province.
The PMD said rain is also expected in the provincial capital Quetta from 18 March, while hailstorms may occur in some areas. Officials added that temperatures will fall after the rains and the intensity of the cold may increase.
