Following a deadly terrorist attack in Bannu, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry affirmed that Pakistan will neutralize all threats, as the Air Force struck terrorist hideouts across the border in Afghanistan.
Late last night, the Pakistan Air Force conducted precision strikes on terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan. According to reports, several members of terrorist groups, including Fitna al-Khawarij and their allies, were killed during the operations.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting confirmed the PAF’s actions, emphasizing that these strikes were in direct response to recent suicide attacks in Pakistan, including incidents in Bannu, Bajaur, and the Imambargah of Islamabad.
Recent terror attacks in Pakistan
On February 21, a suicide attack in Bannu claimed the lives of Lieutenant Colonel Gulfraz and Sepoy Karamat of the Pakistan Army. Investigations revealed links to terrorist networks operating from Afghanistan.
The Ministry stated that leadership and facilitators of these attacks were based in Afghanistan and associated with the Pakistani Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij.
Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry’s statement
In a statement shared on social media, Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry reassured the nation:

He also celebrated the Pakistan Air Force’s success, adding the patriotic slogan: “Pakistan Forever, Long Live.”
